A Little Dirt, a Little Sun, a Lot of Love

Henry tilled the earth for his second Crawford Street garden last week, and began planting this weekend.  I'm excited about the radishes, carrots, cucumbers, and squash; everybody else seems to be over-the-top nutty anxious for tomatoes and okra.

It's hard work tilling.  It's hard work sowing.  It's hard work waiting.

This is why you're going to do it with us this year.  Every Sunday, beginning today, I will post a picture of Henry's garden.

And because you know I love to live my life in constant "theme" mode, I thought I'd also share something else it takes a little dirt, a little sun, and a lot of love to raise.

  1. I love it! Especially the little something else posted at the bottom! We grow rocks here at the lake.I would be deliriously happy if I had some of that good ole Alabama brown sugar to plant in! Ahhh...
