Wordless Wednesday

This one takes at least a little explaining.  I had occasion to have a brain scan this week. 

When the doctor came in to show me this, I cracked up.

I've never seen my brain before, and maybe it looks like everybody else's, but my first thought was,"It's so HAPPY!"

I've been told I see life through Pollyanna lenses.   While I take exception to that characterization, it is true that on a scale from 1 - 10, with 1 being "obnoxiously morose" and 10 being "perpetually in danger of being Mayor of Fiddle-Dee-Dee-ville," I'm generally about an 8.5.

It doesn't mean that I'm not heartbreakingly aware of the most difficult things in life -- I most certainly am.  What it does mean is that while the difficult things force us to walk through them, they do not require we take up residence inside them.
